Parnendi Training Cafe
Parnendi is an Aboriginal word meaning 'sparkle' or 'shine' and Parndendi Training Cafe does just that. Situated on the grounds of Windsor Gardens Vocational College this fully functioning restaurant is open to the public every Thursday and Friday from 12.00noon to 2.00pm during school terms.
Every term a new menu is developed by the chef and students, it's always gourmet, delicious with flavours, fresh and beautifully presented. There are 2 courses for $15.00 or 3 courses for $20.00. Non-alcoholic beverages are available and you can BYO. Outside catering is also a service offered by the cafe and the prices are very competitive.
The commercial kitchen and front of house is headed by experienced TAFE trainers. Students enrolled in the courses achieve Certificate I and II in Kitchen Operations and Front of House by the end of Year 12. Many students on completion of their certificates have successfully gained emplooyment in the Hospitality industry. Bookings are essential and you can contact the College on 8261 2733 during office hours.
